To join My Connected Community:
- Log on to
the My Connected Community website
(This link will open the page in a new browser window.)
- Click the link, Join Us - It's Free
- Complete the form and click the I Agree button
- Click the link in the VICNET conformation email
Seach for group in the RHSV My Connected Community project:
- In the Search box type a word from the title of the group. ('Royal' or 'history' will locate many of the groups in the RHSV project)
- Click the title of the group you want to join
To join the group:
- Click the Join this group link

Features include:
- Forum- members can express their views on topics
- Events - members can publicise historical society events
- Shared Files/Group Files - minutes, newsletters, documents can be posted for all members to access
- Photos- photographs can be viewed by members
- Guestbook - members can provide information about their interests
- Chat - where members can communicate with other members
- Links- members can add links to sites of interest to the local history community
- Polls - members can vote on issues
