The Woady Yaloak Historical Society was formed in 1985.  The society researches the area of the former Woady Yaloak goldfields. We seek to document and preserve the history of the Woady Yaloak Goldfields by the acquisition and presentation of documentation
The general area of interest to the society is the area surrounding the mining district of the Woady Yaloak Creek from Haddon to the Devil’s Kitchen.
