Collection of material relating to George Taylor and Staff, known later as Taylor’s College, a secondary and commercial college located in Melbourne and then St. Kilda.
George Taylor and Staff was established in 1920, as a coaching collage to tutor students from the University of Melbourne. Taylor’s College prepared thousands of students for entry to the public service, teaching and nursing exams. During WWII they assisted in improving men’s educations for service. There are colleges located in Melbourne, Sydney, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur.
