Gippsland was the home of Minnie Eason. Today, it has some of the highest rates of family violence, intimate partner violence, rape and indecent assault in Victoria.
On average, one woman a week is murdered by her current or former partner in Australia. Please help remember and honour the women and children who have died as a result of family and domestic violence.
Given the large geographical size of the Gippsland region and the fact that they are the only women’s health service in the catchment, any assistance will enable them to broaden the reach of their current programs and resources to a greater number of women within the Gippsland area.
