In 1885 he published ‘A treatise on Cattle’, and in 1895 ‘Old Times in the Bush of Australia’. In 1894/5 he published ten articles in the Leader, entitled ‘Old Time Reminiscences. A True Record of Early Adventures’. These articles are reproduced in this work. He died in September 1904.
