Thornebridge: the Bridge Hotel at Murchison. By Jennifer F O’Donnell

In 1871 Henry Thorne purchased river frontage  in East Murchison.  A critical  factor in Thorne’s purchase was the land’s location right on the approaches  to the about-to-be constructed road bridge across the river.  This became the site for Thorne’s Hotel.  This book explores the history and restoration of the hotel.
