Along the way\, you’ll trace the suburb’s journey from open paddocks and grazing land to one of Melbourne’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. \nHear how trams changed everything in 1916\, how a simple land tax in 1921 spurred rapid development\, and how a humble vet who once tended horses and cows adapted to care for beloved pets. We’ll stop at every street to uncover stories that shaped this community — from bonfire nights in Beckett Park to the thrill of billy cart races flying down Balwyn Road. \nIt’s more than a walk — it’s a stroll through living history. \nCome curious.
