DESCRIPTION:Collingwood Historical Society is pleased to announce that Janet McCalman AC will be our guest speaker at this year’s AGM. Her topic will range over slum clearances\, the establishment of the Housing Commission of Victoria\, and current housing issues.\nThe evening will start with dinner at a venerable Collingwood pub at 6:30\, followed by (brief!) AGM business at 7:45\, then Janet will talk from 8 pm.\nBookings are essential for both dinner and AGM. Please email collingwoodhs@yahoo.com and specify whether you will be attending for dinner as well as the AGM. Attendees will order and pay for their own meals and drinks on arrival.
