Edwin Morris was born in London in 1833 to James Morris and Mary Jane Jefferies
He travelled to Victoria via Tasmania aboard the ‘Sir Charles Napier’ and resided in Camperdown and Port Campbell until his death in 1920.
In 1917, Mr Morris filled out a Pioneer Register for the Historical Society of Victoria providing us with details of his family including one of his poems and noted things he could remember.
He married Catherine McVean in 1859 in Port Fairy and they had five children.
