The RHSV has a spacious room upstairs, formerly an Officers’ Mess, available for hire. With the character and atmosphere of the 1930s, the wood-panelled room is perfect for conferences and workshops, dance-classes and yoga, meetings and training sessions.
The room can accommodate 80+ people theatre-style or up to 50 people (tables supplied) for workshops. Fees include data projector, whiteboard and PA system. The Officers’ Mess upstairs is not fully-accessible as there is no lift.
Downstairs we also hold events in our flexible Gallery Downstairs and have a small meeting room, the Gordon Moffatt Room. Both rooms on the ground floor are fully accessible (ramp into the building and accessible toilet). The Gallery Downstairs will take up to 150 cocktail-style. The Gordon Moffatt Room holds 10-12 at the board tables.
