This is the story of a Victorian sheep Station from its first settlement in 1838 as part of a much larger Pastoral Lease from the Crown, its severance from the lease to become a separate sheep run, its gradual conversion to a freehold estate for closer settlement and its ultimate reacquisition by the Crown 122 years later for the construction of the Eppalock weir.
