Description
SECOND HAND BOOK
The Council of the Municipality of Botany. Includes supplement.
The History of Botany (Captain Cook Bi – Centenary Edition) has proved to be a popular project with the rate payers of the Municipality as a contribution towards the identification of this year with the landing of Captain James Cook in Botany Bay 200 Years ago.
It is felt however that the book did not place sufficient emphasis on some of them modern achievements in the area, i.e. the Hensley Athletic Field and the Botany Municipal Olympic Pool.
The supplement is presented in order to augment to the former publication and to bring forward one or two additional items of interest, indicative of the progress of our Municipality.
