The RHSV is a private, membership-based organisation. Our members have generously supported our work for well over 110 years ensuring we have the most significant collection of Victorian history outside the Government bodies. We do not receive government funding.
We therefore have some fees and charges for our services. Members receive a discount. If you intend to do a lot of research or require a lot of assistance, we highly recommend you become a member to get the best price.

RHSV Research services: First 60 minutes of research is free, and $65 per hour thereafter
Self-directed research in our library or archive without assistance: Free
Non-Members
RHSV Research Services: First 30 minutes of research is free, and $65 per hour thereafter
Self-directed research in our library or archive without assistance: $20 per day

We ask that both Members and Non-members make an appointment to use the collection.
